While winter is going strong, make the best of the cold weather and gather your kids and their friends together and head out for a fun afternoon sledding party. If kids don’t have sleds they can use inner tubes for the pool, which make fantastic sleds. If your neighborhood has a big hill you can all use, great. If not, head over to a local park or go online to find local sledding spots.
After a few hours of snow-packed fun, invite everyone over to your house for snacks and warm treats that will be sure to melt all your little snowmen and women. Make hot chocolate and provide cookies for dipping. Recruit a few other moms to serve as chaperones on the sledding hill and ask each of them to bring along a treat for the after party. The kids can warm up and wind down by drinking cocoa and watching a movie.
