When your child comes home all happy and laden with tons of Valentines from his friends and classmates, you don’t want to just throw them away, do you? But, tossing yet more keepsakes in a shoe box is only going to add to clutter in the house. Why not make a Valentine’s Day memory board with your child so they can hold onto their Valentines for a while and get creative at the same time?
Get a large piece of poster board and lay it on a flat surface. Arrange the Valentines on the board in a collage. If some of the Valentines are too large or have superfluous words, trim them down so they all fit together or overlap in a way that looks nice. Once every open spot on the board is filled and you have a design you like, flip the Valentines over one by one and apply glue stick to the back before adhering them to the board. Along the top you or your child can name the board something like “My Valentines 2013.” Hang the board in your child’s room so they can enjoy their cards from their friends.

aww, what a cute idea. and its also good for their self esteem and remembering how loved they are throughout the year
Ive always just lined the dresser mirror with them but this is a much more thoughtful way of doing it
Thanks for this great idea… The valentine cards are lying in a plastic bag.. I will put it to good use.
